Great job, everyone! All the hard work everyone has been putting into leveling up has been helping our Free Company level at the same time. We hit rank 5 pretty quickly, and can now enjoy all the different perks that come along with being part of a company.

When we hit rank 3, we gained a fully expanded company chest, which has been stocked with plenty of food, medicines and different materials. 

At rank 4, we unlocked the ability to customize your gear with our company crest! It costs 100 gil per piece of armor, and can be added to your gear through the OIC Officer of Arms at the Grand Company hall in each city.

To add icing to the cake, we now have access to company actions, which can give a variety of bonuses to the members when active. Only one ability can be active at a time, and for the time being we'll be sticking with Reduced Rates, which lowers the cost of teleportation by 20%, and with The Heat of Battle, which increases EXP gained through combat by 5%!

Simple purchased a plot of land! Pictures of the house coming once we build it~!

Thank you so so so much to everyone who donated and helped us finally purchase this plot of land. All of the hard work finally paid off! Simple will make it up to those of you who helped out somehow. Haven't figured out how yet, but just hang tight! ♥

Archive Post - July 18, 2014 - Simple Private Housing Contest!

Hey, everyone! A couple of the Founders wanted to hold a company-wide private quarters decoration contest! The prizes will be posted here shortly once all the details are finalized, but I just wanted to get a few quick things out of the way so everyone can get started.

Everyone who enters will get something (we're not sure what yet!), so give it a shot and enter your room into the contest!

[strike]The Deadline: August 8, 2014 @ 11:59 PM EST (That's right before midnight on the East Coast!)

How to Enter: You can either send a tell to me (Estellise Lunaren), Cutie Patewtee or to the judges (list to be announced) OR you can update your FC short message saying that your room is complete and you would like to enter in the contest. (Example: "My room is done! I enter it into the contest!")[/strike]

Rules:

1. [*] If a room is currently unlocked and finished, you cannot copy their design. We've gone to opened rooms and checked what it's like on the inside and we have a good feeling who has done what so far. Screenshots have been taken!
2. [*] You CAN get help from your friends designing, so long as you inform the judges (and the person/people helping you confirm their involvement). 
3. [*] Prizes will not be shared amongst the people who designed together. The prize goes to the room owner; what they do with that prize is up to them.
4. [*] You CAN have your friends craft you furniture. We don't need to know who crafted what, but just know that you can pool together your resources and make each other what you need.

Prizes:

1st Place: Choice between King Tomato, Onion Prince, Eggplant Knight and Garlic Jester

2nd Place: Choice between remaining Mandragora Minions

3rd Place: Choice between remaining Mandragora Minions (After 2nd Place picks)

Honorable Mention: Last Remaining Mandragora Minion

Other Participants: 20,000 gil

Note that these minions have not been grown yet and winners will receive their mandragora in the mail once they are ready!

Archive Post - August 7, 2014 - Our Answer to F Co.'s Cannon

A while ago, when the houses were first being built, our neighbors and friends at F Co. decided to aim a cannon directly at our house. When confronted they claimed it was aimed at the "ocean". It's clear from this image below that this is not the case.

With help from our neighbors TES and Scout (and a friend from Sctr7!), we were able to build up an LB2.

Archive Post - August 10, 2014 - Simple Private Housing Contest: The Results!

Hey, everyone! A couple of weeks ago, we announced that we were holding a contest for people to design their rooms.Thank you so much to everyone for entering! The rooms were all really great and it was really hard to choose which was "the best". In the end, we took a more objective approach and ranked the rooms on a scale of 1 to 10 based on the creativity, the usage of space, the color scheme, and the overall cohesiveness of the room. The results were really close, with the top four designs being ~4-5 points apart in terms of their scores.

But now, without further ado, I'm happy to announce the winners of our housing contest!

Archive Post - June 26, 2016 - FC Jumping Puzzle Event!

On June 25, 2016, following Anjali and Estellise's wedding, we hosted an FC event with a jumping puzzle that spanned 3 floors of a medium house. Thank you to Zelda Aran for letting us borrow his alt's FC house (CIPHR) and thank you to Swifty and Cutie for helping to set up the puzzle! Anjali was the guinea pig for the top floor which was the challenge floor. Winners walked away with Zu mounts!

Grats to Jailbait, Wild, Iris and Atma on winning the Zu mounts! Congratulations to everyone else who completed the final course!

Grats to Yukira, Kyami and Yang for completing the first two floors before anyone else.
