Hi, everyone! I'd like to introduce a new system we're going to be implementing in the near future in the FC to help people improve. ♥

TiS Mentoring Program

What do mentors do?

Mentors in our FC are essentially just fellow members who have stepped up because they are confident in their ability to play their job/role and are willing to help others improve if interested. This means that they are willing to answer any questions you have on the job they've volunteered for. If you are unsure of your DPS rotation, feel free to ask them for help! If they're available, they'll help you out. If they are not currently available, they'll try to schedule a time for you both to meet and discuss whatever questions you had.

What else does this program entail?

We will also be hosting learning parties for the new Extreme Primals (and the old ones if needed) in order to train people who are not as confortable with the mechanics. After attending these sessions, the idea is you'd be able to join PuGs comfortably since you will understand the mechanics to their entirety. This also means we will purposely not push phases so each rotation of the fight can be seen and understood. We want everyone to 100% understand the fights and be able to fend for themselves.

This will also may eventually include 7-man training.

In order to include more people into sales, we want to teach people how to 7-man the fights. Those who show a lot of improvement in terms of mechanics and DPS will be able to participate in sales.

These sessions will likely be after the completion of the mechnical training and after sufficiently improving DPS in a given fight. This applies to healers and tanks as well. Since 7-manning a primal effectively and efficiently requires high DPS, only those who have shown improvement in the primals via practice (either in training sessions, or practicing on their own), will be able to go to a 7-man training course.

 When will these training sessions happen?

This has yet to be determined. We're currently in the process of picking a time, but are currently considering weekends.
